This December, 100 local families will be able to have a Christmas for their children thanks to the generosity of people all over the Portland area. Without this help these youngsters would have no real Christmas. This assistance is going to hard working families who are just not making enough to buy needed clothing and toys or to enjoy a real Christmas dinner together.

Anyone can be a part of this "Adopt A Family" program. The non-profit Family Assistance Foundation coordinates this event each year. Right now the Family Assistance Foundation is seeking volunteers who can donate a little time this December to wrap gifts, or shop for clothing items that will be used for gifts, or deliver wrapped gifts to the families.
